Foster Kids Charity is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization entirely locally supported. When you are donating, you can rest assured that your donation is going directly to support the vital good work we do for foster children in state care. Our goal is to serve foster children in our community with unconditional love & care for all their basic needs.
Our Goal: The September 11 National Day of Service and Remembrance or 9/11 Day is a federally-recognized National Day of Service that happens in the United States on the anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. We want to honor the victims of this tragedy, and celebrate the hero's who had courage and in turn lost their lives. To honor this day, Foster Kids Charity sets a goal to prepare 5,000 snack bags to honor those 5000 victims who lost their lives on this day. Our 5,000 food bags will be distributed to foster children in state care, in court, and in child welfare agencies. You can help by donating funds or preparing snacks off site and dropping it off to our office by September 11. Please contact Raul to drop off at: Cell 682-682-5831091 Thank you and god bless the USA.
Foster Kids Charity is taking part in North Texas Giving day. Our board is establishing a temporary home (6 bunk beds) for foster children who need emergency placement thanks to a partnership with Child Protective Services. The house will provide a temporary home for children ages 18 years of age and younger, needing temporary place to sleep/live until placed with a foster family. Michelle Brown, CEO of the charity say facilities all over DFW and Texas regions are struggling to find placements for foster children, in specific, teenagers. The crisis is caused by a shortage of foster homes and placements available. This is a long-term and continuing issue.Instead of setting up cots in CPS offices (offices has no shower or kitchen for preparing food) Foster Kids Charity aims to provide a real place to call home for teens. A real home will bridge the gap and will be called Foster Kids Children Center (FKCC).To support this project and provide foster teens caring and safe housing, Foster Kids Charity rely heavily on the support of the community. Thank you for your support!

Other ways to support Foster Kids Charity this season:
Thank you for your support and Happy Holiday Season!
It's Christmas: December signals festivities, family and fun for most children. However, foster youth experience the holidays very differently.
For older youth who have left foster care, holidays can be particularly a tough time. Youth who age out of care often feel disconnected from former foster parents and biological family. They are typically enduring financial strain as they are learning to manage their lives on their own.
Our Teens Drive sponsors 125 foster youth. Teens in care are often most overlooked when the community conduct a toy drives, and this program helps teens in care experience the joy of receiving gifts during the holidays too. We budget $100 per teen for Christmas and we will appreciate your aid in making this drive a success!
