Foster Kids Charity Inc. is 501(c) 3 non-profit organization who cares about youth in Texas. Therefor, we are working in partnership with Child Protective to celebrate foster youth who graduated from high school.
While most 18-year-olds are rejoicing over their high school graduation, many kids “aging out” of the child welfare system hardly get a moment to celebrate before facing tough choices about their future. These kids lose much of their support system just in time to face the challenges of the adult world.
Now begins the daunting task of using their skills and resources to begin life on their own.
On May 20, 2023, foster youths will be honored and recognized for their educational achievement against all odds. Our charity will provide the individuals with scholarship funds, laptops, educational materials and personal items that will serve them while attending college. We hope to have the financial support of you and/or your company in order to serve all 62 graduates! Funds will purchase items needed and delivered to graduates in DFW via caseworkers. All funds needed by May, 1st if possible, in order to serve all 62 teens. Thank you for your help!
As always, your ongoing contributions are welcomed. Thank you for your support!
On September 11, 2023, our charity will take part of National Day of Service to honor those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001.
On that day, Foster Kids Charity will assemble 9000 snack bags to remember the victims of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attack
Food Bags will benefit abused and foster children in the State of Texas across three regions: DFW, Tyler and Beaumont
You can prepare a portion of the bags needed at your church, school or place of work!
You can help by shipping snacks directly to our office. Individually wrapped snacks like: crackers, fruit snacks or apple sauce works great!
