Join us as we honor the victims of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks & promote unity, service, and remembrance.
Since 2019, Foster Kids Charity has proudly participated in the September 11 Day of Service and Remembrance, joining communities across the nation in honoring the lives lost on September 11 through meaningful acts of service.
The September 11 Day of Service is recognized as the largest annual day of charitable service in the United States. It transforms a day of remembrance into a day of unity, compassion, and action.
Day of Service Project - Creating 2,977 Snack Bags for Foster Children in State Care
On Friday, September 11, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Foster Kids Charity will prepare 2,977 snack bags, one for each victim of the September 11 attacks.
In previous years, with the help of our community, we have tripled that amount. The snack bags will serve foster and abused children throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area in courts, advocacy centers, and other child welfare agencies.
